LSU’s Friday Night Lights camp has already proven fruitful for the program, yielding commitments from two promising defensive linemen. One commitment is for the 2025 class and the other for 2026.
Starting with the 2025 recruit, LSU secured the commitment of Jesse Harrold, a highly regarded four-star edge rusher from Tampa. Harrold, standing at 6’5” and weighing 207 pounds, is ranked as the No. 66 overall prospect by On3 and ranks in the top 10 at his position.
His commitment marks LSU’s first defensive line addition for the 2025 class and serves as a notable early success for new EDGE coach Kevin Peoples. Choosing LSU over programs like Florida, Miami, Auburn, and Texas A&M, Harrold highlights the Tigers’ early recruiting prowess.
Additionally, LSU added another key piece to the 2025 class with the recent commitment of Carius Curne, considered the nation’s top interior offensive lineman.
Looking ahead, LSU has also begun building its 2026 class with the commitment of four-star defensive lineman Richard Anderson. Anderson, a rising junior from New Orleans who attends Edna Karr High School, opted for LSU after participating in the Tigers’ camp.
His decision came over offers from Oregon, USC, Ole Miss, and Florida State. Anderson joins LSU’s recruiting efforts alongside current commits like TaRon Francis, and he shares the field with other LSU targets including Corey Adams and Aiden Hall, enhancing the Tigers’ recruiting outlook for the future.
