According to Tom Loy and Gaby Urritia of 247Sports, five-star wide receiver Jaime Ffrench will make his official visit to the Miami football program on Tuesday.

On Friday, Loy reported, “No single leader on top for….Ffrench.” According to his 247Sports page, Ffrench will be making his second official trip to Miami.

French was hosted at LSU on the weekend of May 31. According to 247Sports, Ffrench will make formal trips to Tennessee on June 14 and Texas on June 21.

Prior to this spring, Ohio State was in the lead for a French commitment. Three crystal balls from 247Sports are directing French toward Ohio State.

More lately, Texas has been predicted to lead in a French commitment. According to On3, the Longhorns have a 49.1% chance of receiving a commitment from Ffrench. With a 22.0 percent likelihood of receiving a French commitment, Ohio State is ranked second, followed by LSU at 16.1 percent.

On3 has Florida State ranked as the fourth favorite, but the Seminoles have not been included in the list of five programs that Ffrench has recently stated. Without a standout star, Ffrench ranks his top five programs as LSU, Miami, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas.

Four-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III will accompany French on his formal visit to Miami. Since Waden Charles is no longer committed, Miami is adjusting their wide receiver list for the 2025 class.

According to reports, Ffrench will make his commitment public on August 30. In the 2025 class, Ffrench is ranked as the 18th prospect, the fourth wide receiver, and the third in Florida.

Miami’s 2025 class is presently ranked 39th. In the 2024 class, the Hurricanes signed Joshisa Trader, Chance Robinson, and Ny Carr, three four-star wide receivers. As a true freshman, Trader should anticipate get a lot of snaps. With the final two classes, Miami has a solid foundation at wide receiver for the next two years at least.
