BRONCOS NEWS: QB Zach Wilson Of The Denver Broncos Finally Shares His Trade Thoughts.

This offseason, the Denver Broncos overhauled their quarterback room entirely. Russell Wilson’s decision to move on was the catalyst for everything.

Following that action, they selected Bo Nix in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and then traded for Zach Wilson from the New York Jets.
With the Jets, Wilson never really had a fair chance. When he didn’t emerge from his rookie season looking like a superstar, he was demonized at every opportunity.

Any error he made during his time in New York was met with criticism from the public and media. The media wasn’t done picking on him, even when he filled in admirably for Aaron Rodgers after his season-ending Achilles injury. He was even derided for suffering personal injuries.

Lastly, he won’t have to cope with the New York fan base and media. For the rookie quarterback, seeing the Denver Broncos is a welcome change of pace.

QB Zach Wilson of the Denver Broncos Finally Shares His Trade Thoughts

Wilson made the decision to remain silent after the transfer. At last, he has opened up and shared his opinions about leaving the Jets and signing with the Denver Broncos.

Yes, of course there are times of bittersweetness in everything. I miss the men out there and everything, but I’m thankful for my experience there and the guys. However, I think it’s healthy to start over and I’m eager to take on a new task.

Wilson had the ideal response and handled the matter with poise and professionalism, as he has done his whole NFL career. Wilson never retaliated, not even when he was attacked in New York. He maintained his composure and concentrated on attempting to turn a bad situation around.

Given his current circumstances with the Denver Broncos, it appears highly improbable that he will be selected as the starting quarterback. On the depth chart, Jarrett Stidham and Bo Nix are both ahead of him. Wilson, meanwhile, has never carried the quit gene in his DNA.

Whether he is selected to play in Denver or not, he may position himself to be selected again by doing well in training camp and the preseason.

Wilson’s tenure with the Jets made it difficult not to support him. I hope he can take full use of Denver’s opportunity to display his skill set. The talent he possesses cannot be denied.

Having said that, it will be intriguing to watch the Denver Broncos quarterback competition to see who prevails. Although Nix appears to have the early advantage, this could alter in the upcoming days, weeks, and months.
