Because of his rib injury from the previous week, quarterback Jayden Daniels was declared a game-time decision by the Washington Commanders. According to Adam Schefter, despite his official questionable status, he is expected to play today against the Chicago Bears.
Before deciding whether Daniels can start, the Commanders will still need to observe how he feels throughout Sunday’s pregame warmups. But according to a club official who spoke to ESPN, Daniels is “one tough-ass dude.”
The team official told ESPN that even if he were losing his right leg, he would still want to play.
It was thought that Daniels would play today since the Washington Commanders didn’t promote anyone from the practice squad yesterday. On Friday, he worked out out of the spotlight, and on Saturday, he was assessed. Daniels will have to contend with a formidable Chicago Bears defence if he makes a comeback today. The top two picks from this year’s draft will also face off in this matchup.
