JUST-IN: Cowboys “Need To Make A Move” Towards Davante Adams, Says Michael Irvin.

The six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Davante Adams has requested a trade from the Las Vegas Raiders, and it appears that everyone has a different trade proposal in mind for him.

Adams will turn 32 on Christmas Eve, making it logical for him to join a team that can win a Super Bowl with his assistance. Adams is now 31 years old.

Davante Adams' disorder that prevents him from even getting an MRI ...

The venerable Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin stated on Fox Sports 1’s “Speak” that his old team should pursue Adams with “everything they’ve got.”

Adams’ stats have decreased slightly from the previous year, but it’s safe to say that the Raiders’ subpar quarterback performance has had part of the blame.

He was most recently nominated to the Pro Bowl in 2022 after finishing his last season with the Green Bay Packers with 1,516 yards and an NFL-high 14 receiving touchdowns.

The Cowboys, who are at 2-2, have a number of issues, one of which is that they lack a reliable number-two wide receiver to replace CeeDee Lamb.

They had high hopes that their trade acquisition from the previous summer, Brandin Cooks, would be that player, but Cooks disappointed last year and has only caught nine passes for 91 yards so far this year.

Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb Was Unwilling To Sign Extension In 2023 ...

The fact that Adams is on a separate timetable than the rest of Dallas’ studs is something that needs to be taken into account.

Lamb, Dak Prescott, the quarterback, is thirty-one years old, but he may have a few more productive years ahead of him. Cornerbacks Trevon Diggs and DaRon Bland are both in their mid-20s.

Since wide receivers don’t have the same longevity as quarterbacks, the Cowboys may not be able to afford to sign Adams given his anticipated limited number of prime years.
