The Clemson Tigers are aiming to get back on track in the 2024 college football season.

After a few years of not being in the championship conversation, there’s growing frustration and high expectations from both the team and its fans, who are used to Clemson being a regular National Championship contender.

For the 2024 season, the Tigers have strengthened their roster with a highly talented recruiting class expected to make a significant impact.

One standout newcomer is freshman wide receiver TJ Moore. Clemson’s wide receivers coach, Tyler Grisham, has recently praised Moore for his impressive dedication and eagerness. Grisham noted that Moore leads the team in film study and is keen to make an early contribution.

Grisham also highlighted his recruiting philosophy, emphasizing that no player is promised a starting role. He mentioned that while he doesn’t guarantee starting positions, there are opportunities for players to prove themselves, citing recent successes with freshman All-American receivers.

Additionally, Drew Swinney, the son of head coach Dabo Swinney, has been named assistant wide receivers coach and will also focus on offensive player development. Drew, who previously served as a graduate assistant and played wide receiver for Clemson from 2018 to 2022, will be stepping into this new role following the NCAA’s decision to lift the limit on on-field assistant coaches.

Drew redshirted his first year, played in limited snaps over the following seasons, and had a more significant role in his senior year, contributing as a receiver and holder on placekicking duties.
