The Las Vegas Raiders are expected to make significant changes this offseason, either through a rebuild or retooling, and addressing the quarterback position via the draft is a priority. Among the many talented prospects expected to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, none have generated as much excitement as Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders. As the season progresses, the buzz around the Raiders potentially targeting Sanders has continued to grow.
Shedeur Sanders, the son of Colorado head coach and NFL legend Deion Sanders, has excelled in college, particularly since joining Colorado last season. The Raiders’ interest in Sanders has been well-documented, but recent comments from defensive star Maxx Crosby have added more fuel to the speculation.
Crosby appeared on “The Rush” podcast and shared insights about his close connection with Shedeur Sanders. He mentioned that he had just spoken with the Colorado quarterback before joining the podcast and explained his longstanding relationship with the Sanders family.
“That’s my guy. Shedeur’s my guy, which people don’t know,” Crosby said. He explained that his brother, Miles, was college roommates with Deion Sanders Jr., who handles Colorado football’s media content. Crosby recalled visiting Deion’s home when Shedeur was younger and shared that they’ve remained close ever since. “We’ve been cool for a long time. He FaceTimed me, and we were just chatting about his game and everything,” Crosby added.
