Superstar Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors was forced to leave his preseason game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday night, which raised some concerns. Curry’s shooting hand injury forced him to leave the game in the second quarter and prevented him from coming back. When the second half began, the former two-time MVP left the court with Rick Celebrini, the Warriors’ director of sports health and performance, and entered the locker room.
In the end, Curry’s injury was discovered to be a jammed right finger after X-rays were required to assess its severity. Thank goodness that wasn’t a significant issue.
Following the game, head coach of the Dubs Steve Kerr stated that everything was alright and that Curry’s choice to sit out the rest of the game was only a precaution.
