JUST IN: In an unexpected trade proposal, the Dallas Cowboys are reunited with a familiar face.

With a 3-2 record, the Dallas Cowboys have had a great start to the season. They also proved to the entire NFL community that they are serious contenders this year after defeating the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Since Brandin Cooks was placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury, which will cause him to miss at least three more games, Dallas has seen some wide receiver concerns.

The Cowboys must take further action to acquire a reliable receiver to complement CeeDee Lamb. A trade proposal from CBS Sports is highly anticipated by Dallas supporters.

The Cowboys are reportedly trading for Browns wide receiver Amari Cooper. Josh Edwards of CBS Sports wrote an article titled 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Projecting trades for Davante Adams and other top WRs, how it could impact Round 1. He said, “Although the season has not gone as planned, the acquisition of Cooper would give the franchise a jolt it desperately needs.” Cooper already has a good relationship with Dak Prescott and is reasonably priced.
Before being sold to Cleveland in March 2022, Cooper played four seasons with the Cowboys from 2018 to 2021. He has the potential to be a huge asset to the Dallas wide receiver group.
