In the event that Adams is signed by the Saints, he will rejoin Derek Carr, his former teammate at Fresno State. In 2022, Adams was dealt from Green Bay to Las Vegas, where he spent a season playing alongside Carr. Adams participated in all 17 regular season games, racking up 100 receptions for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns, and was selected to his sixth consecutive Pro Bowl at the conclusion of the 2022–2023 campaign.
Adams was also upset that Carr was allowed to go in free agency and join New Orleans by the Raiders.
Adams’s preferred trade destination? He would be reunited with quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the New York Jets. For eight seasons following their 2014 second-round selection, Rodgers and Adams ranked among the NFL’s top offensive tandems.
