Tuesday saw the return of Boston College to practice, and quarterback Thomas Castellanos was there as well. The starting second year, who was not present for the game versus Virginia last week, was once more practicing and working out while wearing pads.
Bill O’Brien, head coach, stated, “I think he’s doing alright.” “I felt he had a respectable practice and arrived prepared to go today. James’s Grayson will also be prepared to travel. Thus, there’s no denying that we have two players who can play.”
When Castellanos was on the field for the last time, he threw Lewis Bond the game-winning touchdown with just under two minutes left in the Michigan State game. He was declared ineligible for the game versus Western Kentucky last Friday. In his stead, FIU transfer Grayson James was elevated to the starting lineup. James completed 19 of 32 passes for 168 yards, one passing touchdown, and one rushing score. In the end, he found Jerand Bradley with the game-winning touchdown pass late in the fourth quarter.
Thomas Castellanos has passed for 729 yards, ten touchdowns, and two interceptions so far this season. He is a dual threat because he has also gained 112 yards and one touchdown through rushes.
On Saturday, Boston College will take on Virginia; kickoff is scheduled for noon in Charlottesville. The ACC Network will broadcast the game.
