Tennessee bolstered their offensive line with a significant commitment on Thursday morning, as four-star prospect Nic Moore announced his decision to join their 2025 recruiting class. The Dandridge, Tennessee native made his announcement through X.
Moore, standing at 6-3 and weighing 300 pounds, is projected to play as an interior offensive lineman. According to 247Sports, he ranks 228th overall in the class of 2025 and is the 13th highest-rated interior offensive lineman nationally. He also holds the distinction of being the fifth-ranked prospect in Tennessee.
Tennessee extended an offer to Moore on May 10th following a visit to his high school. Moore made his commitment to Tennessee after completing his official visit last weekend. Despite receiving offers from Vanderbilt and West Virginia, where he visited officially this month as a defensive lineman, Moore ultimately chose Tennessee where he is expected to work under Glen Elarbee on the offensive side of the ball.
In addition to football, Moore is an athlete on his high school’s track and field team.
Moore’s commitment brings Tennessee’s total to 12 commitments for the 2025 class. He joins Antoni Kade Ogumoro as part of the offensive line recruits in the group. With Moore’s addition, Tennessee’s recruiting class moves up to No. 16 in the early class rankings according to 247Sports.
