The Cleveland Browns faced a relentless string of injuries last season, beginning in Week One when starting right tackle Jack Conklin suffered a season-ending knee injury. Unfortunately, the team’s injury woes persisted throughout the season, with players regularly sidelined week after week. Additionally, two of their key offensive stars had their seasons abruptly cut short last year.
According to Mary Kay Cabot from Cleveland.com, Myles Garrett grabbed his left hamstring after early drills. He removed his gloves but remains outside.
Hopefully, Garrett’s injury is minor and he can make a swift return. The positive aspect is that the season doesn’t commence for another three months, allowing ample time for him to recover if necessary. Nevertheless, all players must prioritize their physical well-being, as even a minor injury during a non-contact practice could potentially impact their availability for games this year.
Andrew Berry said on NFL Network’s The Insiders, “He’s really actually ahead of schedule… He’s thrown the ball well. Did a really nice job during our 7-on-7 and team periods during this veteran minicamp.
“He’s making excellent progress. Honestly if you didn’t know he got hurt last year, you really wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. We’re very excited once camp starts.”
