Jordan Wilkerson, an offensive tackle, and linebacker Ezekiel Marcelin are the leaders of the Miami football program. The two wide receivers, Tyler Williams and Andrew Purcell, were two of the fourteen prospects who visited Coral Gables on official visits this past weekend.
Inside offensive lineman Takaylen Muex and Miami-committed tight ends Luka Gilbert and Brock Schott were among the official visitors. Schott, Gilbert, and Muex are not among the four candidates who are leaning toward Miami. This was the first of four major weekends that would follow with official visits.
With an 88 percent likelihood of receiving a commitment from the three-star linebacker, Marcelin is moving highest toward Miami. At 4%, Louisville is ranked as having the second-best probability of receiving a commitment from Marcelin. Out of Miami Central, Marcelin is ranked 446th overall, 44th among LBs, and 62nd in Florida by On3.
Miami is ahead in Wilkerson’s competitive recruitment. Miami has a 34.4 percent probability of getting a Wilkerson commitment, Syracuse has a 25.8 percent chance, and Rutgers has a 30.1 percent chance.
Wilkerson, an Orlando, Lake Highland Prep product, is ranked 1,066th overall, 70th as an OT, and 131st among players in Florida.
Purcell’s lead is already over ten points for Miami. With Purcell committed, the Hurricanes are the 33.3 percent favorite, followed by Georgia (22.0 percent), Tennessee (18.9 percent), and Kentucky (15.9 percent). Purcell is Alabama’s 544th prospect, 53rd wide receiver, and 26th recruit in the 2025 class.
With a 29.2 percent likelihood of receiving a commitment from Williams, Miami leads, followed by Georgia (20.6 percent), Central Florida (13.3 percent), and Syracuse (11.1 percent).
Williams ranks 59th among recruits in Florida for the 2025 class, 70th among wide receivers, and 419th all prospects. Following WR Waden Charles’ decommitment this week, Williams is a significant recruit.
